OVC RELEASE

Amina Hadzic of the women's tennis team has been named and adidas® Ohio Valley Conference player of the week, the league office announced Wednesday.

"I am very happy for Amina because she has been playing some great tennis this season and it was no different this week. She was very clutch for us in the big moments this week and winning 10 matches in a row is a very hard thing to do in Division I tennis. It just shows that all the hard work she has been putting on and off the court is paying off and I am very proud of her," said head coach Jorge Caetano.

Hadzic is currently 14-5 overall and 3-0 in OVC play. Along with her impressive record, Hadzic is also undefeated in her last 10 matches. She went undefeated last week with wins against Bradley University, Illinois State and most recently Jacksonville State.

Murray State is on the road this week, as they travel to UT Martin on Friday, March 30 and Southeast Missouri on Saturday, March 31.
