The Game

Last Time Out
The Racers scratched out five hits against Southern Illinois, but plated just one run and stranded six in the 3-1 loss Wednesday. Lillie Goetz scored MSU's only run of the game, reaching on a double, and was scored on a Madison Culver single.
The Tennessee Tech Series
The Racers took on Tennessee Tech earlier this season at the Trojan Classic in Troy and walked away with the biggest win in program history, a 21-0, five-inning victory over the Golden Eagles. The win set the program single-game marks for runs with 21 and RBIs with 17 and also extended MSU's all-time lead in the series to 13-9. Murray State has now won two games in a row in the series and is an impressive 8-2 all-time in Cookeville.
Weather Forecast
Partly sunny with a high in the mid-70s is the forecast for Friday in Cookeville. Chances for rain will be slim, but the wind will be howling at 10 mph with gusts of up to 16.
