The Murray State women's golf team heads into Saturday's final round of the Jan Weaver Invitational in second place behind leader Central Arkansas at Miller Memorial Golf Course in Murray, Kentucky. The field of 88 players will begin with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Racers' home course.

The Racers were tied with the Bears after the morning round in which they posted a score of 293, but fell off the pace when UCA posted a 291 in the afternoon to MSU's 304. MSU with scores of 293-304=597 stands in second place behind Central Arkansas with scores of 293-291=584. Austin Peay (598), Louisiana-Monroe (602) and Arkansas State (603) made up the top-5 of the field of 14 teams.

After posting a 15-year event record with a 5-under-par 67 in the morning, MSU's Moa Folke is still in line to win a record third-straight medalist award heading into the final round. Folke's scores read 67-78=145 as she is two shots off the lead of UCA's Emma Svensson who carded scores of 73-70=143.

Other Murray State scores and positions included Linette Holmslykke in fifth place with scores of 74-74=148 and Lucila Puente Rodriguez in 25th place with rounds of 76-76=152. Anna Moore had scores of 78-76=154 and was in 34th place, while Raeshay Surendran was in 40th place on rounds of 76-79=155.

Nadine Innes led the Racers' four players in the field as individuals with a spot in 29th place on scores of 75-78=153, while Earlena Sheets was in 34th place on scores of 77-77=154. Leah Rose Judd was in 76th place on scores of 84-85=169 and Charli Doss had scores of 84-86=170 and was in 81st place.
