Intrasquad Series Scheduled for this Weekend

The Murray State baseball team continues to prepare for the regular season this weekend by playing an intra-squad series at Reagan Field.
The first game will take place Friday afternoon at 3:00 while first pitch for Saturday and Sunday is scheduled for 1:00.
Last weekend, Blue defeated Gray, 4-0, Sunday afternoon with Trevor McMurray, Connor Holden, and Peyton pitching the shutout. Ryan Perkins gave Blue the lead they needed with an opposite-field home run in the third inning before Wes Schad provided the cushion with a two-run single later in the inning. Brock Anderson cashed in an insurance run in the seventh a single to drive in Tyler Duke.
The Racers kick off the regular season, February 15-17, with a three-game series at Oral Roberts. The home opener is scheduled for February 22 against Miami (OH).
