Moore Named OVC Golfer Of The Week

Murray State senior Anna Moore was named the Ohio Valley Conference Golfer of the Week as announced by the league office in Brentwood, Tennessee.

Out of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Moore won medalist honors at the Morehead State Citrus Challenge held at the Red Tail Golf Club in Sorrento, Florida. She carded rounds of 70-70-72 to finish at 212 (-4) and top the field of 55 by six shots. Her performance helped the Murray State team to a first-place team finish (by 21 shots) in a field of nine; it marked the third title of the year for the Racers. Moore currently ranks 10th in the OVC in stroke average (76.6).

Next up for the Racers is the John Kirk – Panther Intercollegiate (March 31-April 2) at Eagle's Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, Georgia.
