Summer Camp Dates Set

Murray State head coach Dan Skirka has announced the dates for his summer 2019 camps and clinics.
The first camp will be a youth camp for kids ages 6-14 from June 3-6. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day and will allows kids to learn pitching, hitting, and infield from the Murray State coaching staff and players in a fun and educational environment. Campers are asked to bring a bat, glove, helmet, and water bottle.
The second clinic will be a JUCO showcase on June 4th where prospective student-athletes that are graduating from junior college in 2019 and 2020 are invited to join the Racer coaches for a pro-style workout where campers will be evaluated on hitting, fielding, throwing, and running. The day will also include specialized instruction and a scrimmage with live pitchers and hitters at the end of the day. The day will begin at 1 p.m. and will end at the conclusion of the scrimmage.
On June 5th at 1 p.m. a high school showcase will be held at Reagan Field. This event will be for high schoolers in the graduating classes of 2019-2022. Similar to the JUCO showcase, the campers will be evaluated on hitting, defense, fielding, and throwing, with specialized instruction and a scrimmage at the end of the day.
