Kho Paces Racers At UNF Collegiate

The Murray State women's golf team played 36 holes Monday at the UNF Intercollegiate at the Jacksonville Golf & Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida.

After a rough second round, the Racers were in 16th place on scores of 322-328=650, just behind Cincinnati (631), Jacksonville (630) and Eastern Kentucky (626).

Eliza Mae Kho led the way for the Racers with a spot in 52nd place on rounds of 78-80=158, while Raeysha Surendran had scores of 77-82=159 and was in 53rd place. Lucila Puente Rodriguez de Austria was in 76th place after scores of 80-86=166 and Payton Carter was in 81st place on scores of 87-80=167. Ana Picchi had scores of 92-87=179 and was in 87th place.

Host North Florida was the leader at 598, with Sam Houston (593), Seton Hall (604), South Alabama and Delaware (609) making up the top-5. UNF's Teresa Conroy and Ariane Klotz of Delaware were tied for the medalist lead at 142.

The final round is Tuesday morning is a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. local time.

The Jacksonville course is a par-72 layout that will play 5,926 yards for the event.
