Murray State assistant athletic director Brock Rydecki joins Parker Griffith on the latest "Behind The Scenes Edition" of "2-Minute Drill" for an inside look at his job and experiences. Overtime With Brock Rydecki
1. What has been the coolest thing you have gotten to do in your job?
The most fun project so far, there has been a lot, but probably the summer of 2017 we had so much going on but the best project is the video board in the CFSB Center. Getting to oversee that from the start and transform that building into one of the premier buildings in our region and league was a lot of fun to be a part of.
2. If you could swap jobs with anyone in our department who would it be?
I really do enjoy the external side, assisting with our marketing department on different projects and initiatives. Helping out with ticket plans and other things, so probably something external based. I just really like the relationships you can build with our fans and donor in the department through different special events.
3. What do you hope people say about you in 10 years?
I hope they say that I was a good person who was fun to be around but also took care of business first. I hope they say that our game days were always efficient and well organized and would appreciate the work we did for all other departments, because operations is not just operations it effects and helps every department and sport within our organization.
