MSU Baseball Alumni Scramble Decided By One Shot

The Murray State baseball program held its annual alumni golf scramble at MSU's Miller Memorial Golf Course on Aug. 22, 2020.

More than 100 players participated in the event that was first held in 2019.

The winning team of Tony Thweatt, Carrell Boyd, Jerry Throgmorton and Van Golmont carded a score of 56 (15-under par). The second place score of 57 (14-under par) was produced by the foursome of Shane Witzel, Dax Myhand, Bobby Schoen and Jason Karem.

A count-back decided third place at 58 (13-under par). The team of Tyler Owen, Dan Hill, Marc Harmon and Dan Calhoun was declared the third place winner, while the team of Lin Meredith, Dr. Johnny Williams, Dr. John Yates and Kevin Saal placed fourth.
