Murray State's Raeysha Surendran is the Ohio Valley Conference Female Golfer of the Week as announced by the league office.
Â
A Senior from Selangor, Malaysia, Surendran took home second place honors in a field of 210 competitors at the Kiawah Island Classic (Feb. 28-March 2). She fired rounds of 69-68-78 to finish at 215 (-1), to finish two shots behind the medalist. Surendran had a three-shot lead entering the final round. Her performance helped the Racers finish sixth out of 41 teams, including four other OVC schools.
