Garcia & Picchi Pace Racers In California Challenge

The Racers are playing in the Golden State for the first time in program history
The Murray State women's golf team are facing the best field of teams they've seen in years this week at the The Beach Invitational. Through 18 holes, the Racers had carded a team  329 and had a spot in 13th place at Mission Viejo CC in the event hosted by Long Beach State.
Alma Garcia topped the Racers with a spot in 34th place with a first round 80. Ana Picchi also carded an 80 as she was fourth among 12 solo players in the event.
Play Monday was suspended due to darkness and course conditions late Monday. The tournament will resume Tuesday at 10 a.m. Central Time with the completion of the second round followed by the final round.
Oral Roberts was the leader at 301, three shots in front of Sam Houston.
