The Racers played the 54-hole event at in Springfield at Millwood CC

Murray State's final round was a test of resolve in cold, rain and wind at the Missouri State Intercollegiate in Springfield at Millwood CC.

Jakob Wellman and Jay Nimmo shared lead honors for the Racers by sharing 50^th place. Wellman carded scores of 76-76-76=228, while Nimmo carded rounds of 79-71-78=228. Nimmo's 71 in round two was the low score for MSU in the 54-hole event.

The Racers came home with a 14^th place finish on rounds of 308-297-313=918, as they finished in front of Western Illinois (947) and behind Bradley (907) and Western Illinois (911). Oral Roberts (854) was the team winner.

The Racers are finished with the March schedule. Next up is a trip to Louisville, Ky. for the Ernie Denham Classic in Louisville (April 3-4) at The Standard Club. The Racers are in action (April 8-9) in Bloomington, Indiana at the Hoosier Collegiate at PFAU Course and in Springboro, Ohio at the Wright State Invitational at Heatherwoode GC. The Missouri Valley Championship (April 23-25) takes the Racers to Coal Valley, Illinois in the Quad Cities area at Oakwood CC.
