Racers Begin Play At Sea Palms

The Racers are on the Georgia coast in a field of 20 teams
The Murray State men's golf team got things going at the Sea Palms Invitational Thursday in St. Simons Islands, Georgia.
The Racers carded a team score of 294 in round one and had a spot in 18th place with Weber State.
Jay Nimmo and John Buchanan led the Racers with a spot in 51st place after scores of 72.
Davidson and Wright State shared the lead at 271.

Markus Braddlie of Central Florida was the medalist leader with a 64.
