Murray State Athletics Raises $409,787 on Successful Giving Tuesday

Support from generous investors will allow Racers to continue and invest in strategic priorities and student-athlete experience
Murray State Athletics had another successful Giving Tuesday on December 3 with $409,787 raised to invest in the department's strategic priorities and in a world-class experience of the Racers' more than 400 student-athletes.
The philanthropic day marked one of the top-producing Giving Tuesday efforts by Racer Athletics in its history, far outpacing the department's 2023 total of $78,275.
"Racer Nation has once again shown its commitment to investing in our shared vision of excellence by stepping up and supporting our student-athletes on Giving Tuesday," Director of Athletics Nico Yantko said. "We are extremely appreciative of each of our loyal supporters for continuing to step up and support each one of our sport programs in a big way."
Murray State has worked diligently on creating its strategic plan over the last two years, focusing on people, places, and programs as it prepares for a new reality of college athletics. To read the full strategic plan, CLICK HERE.
