Racers Wrap Up Peoples Championship Saturday

The Murray State men's golf team carded a score of 294 for a spot in 14^th place after36 holes of the Peoples Golf Championship - Presented by Sea Palms Resort in St. Simons Island, Georgia.

The Racers' score line of 291-294=585 put them in front of Siena and Western Kentucky and one shot from Rio Grande Valley.

Davidson was the round-2 leader at 547.

Jay Nimmo was leading the Racers with a spot in 13^th place as he dropped seven spots today on a second round 1-over par 72. Nimmo is in the hunt for the medalist championship, eight shots off the lead of Shane Ochs of Wright State who is the leader with an 6-under par 133.

The final round is set for Saturday morning.
