Racers Tennis Earns ITA Academic Honors

Murray State women's tennis was honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association by being named an All-Academic Team for 2024. In addition 10 student-athletes earned the honor of ITA Scholar-Athlete.

Annika Pschorr, Audrey Lamb, Emma Honore, Kyra Jones, Maggie Smith, Megan Null, Natalie Slezakova, Paola Campigotto, Sarah Bureau, and Varvara Alexeyeva each earned the honor from the ITA for their academic efforts in the 2023-24 year.

To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements:

Have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale),
All student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and
All varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year

To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:

Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year
Be listed on the institutional eligibility form

The honor continues the team's successful 2024 after the Racers won the Missouri Valley Conference in an undefeated conference campaign and secured Murray State's first MVC title in any sport.
