Racers Ready For 25th Soccer Season – Announce 2024 Schedule

The Racers play nine home matches at Cutchin Field, including the opener against Xavier (Aug. 22)
Head coach Matt Lodge of Murray State Women's Soccer announced the 2024 schedule, with the Racers playing the 25th season in program history with the opener (Aug. 15) at Cincinnati.
The Racers face Chattanooga in an exhibition match (Aug. 8), before opening up the regular season on the road at Cincinnati (Aug. 15) and at Southeast Missouri (Aug. 18).
Murray State gets a run of 3-of-4 games at home when they have the home opener (Aug. 22) against Xavier. After a road contest (Aug. 25) at Arkansas State, the Racers host Austin Peay (Aug. 29) and UT Martin (Sept. 1).
The final three games of the non-conference portion of the schedule feature road matches with Kentucky (Sept. 5) and Grambling State (Sept. 15) and a home match against Jackson State (Sept. 12).
The Racers begin their third season, a 10-game slate, in the Missouri Valley Conference (Sept. 22) at Evansville, before hosting the UIC Flames (Sept. 22). A road match with the Southern Illinois Salukis (Sept. 29) takes place before Murray State plays four of its next five matches on the home pitch.
Belmont (Oct. 3) and Illinois State (Oct. 6) travel to Cutchin Field before the Racers take on Missouri State in Springfield (Oct. 10).
The home slate of the 2024 season closes with home matches against Indiana State (Oct. 17) and Valparaiso (Oct. 20) on Senior Day.
The MVC season closes out at Northern Iowa (Oct. 24) and at Drake (Oct. 27), before the MVC Tournament is hosted at various campus sites (Oct. 31, Nov. 3, Nov. 7 & Nov. 10).
