Racers In The Hunt For Grover Page Classic Title

The Racers are only two shots off the lead heading into Tuesday’s final round
The Murray State Racers begin the Grover Page Classic only two shots from the lead on Tuesday morning at Jackson Country Club in Jackson, Tennessee.

Scheduled for 54 holes of play, the event was reduced to 36 holes after heavy rain fell overnight in Jackson.
Â
The Racers carded an 11-under-par 277 in Monday's only round and MSU was two shots behind co-leaders Austin Peay and host UT Martin. Southeastern Louisiana was two shots behind the Racers at 279.

Murray State's effort was led by Jay Nimmo who posted a 5-under-par 67 for a spot in third place, while teammate Kamaren Cunningham's 68 was good for a spot in fifth place.

The final round begins at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
