RFAA Delivers Another Impactful Donation to MSU Football
The Murray State Football program received a $100,000 investment from the Racer Football Alumni Association (RFAA) that was presented to Director of Athletics Nico Yantko and head coach Jody Wright at the 2024 home opener against Butler in Roy Stewart Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 7.
Founded in 2018, the RFAA continues to have a positive impact on Racer Football through significant donations given by its membership.
"We are incredibly grateful for the RFAA and their commitment towards our current football student-athletes and coaches," Yantko said. "I know firsthand how much this team means to those who have been fortunate to represent the navy and gold, and we are grateful that our football alumni and the RFAA leadership continue and give their time, talents, and treasures, to push this program forward."
This generous contribution will help support numerous strategic initiatives and projects around the program. Previous investments from the RFAA have allowed the department to invest in educational benefits for football student-athletes and make much-needed enhancements to the team's facilities, including updates to the team meeting room, team lounge, coaches suit, locker room and more. More information on the exciting upgrades can be found here.
