Racers Post Solid Third at Rivermont

The Murray State women's golf team moved up two spots in the final 36 holes to a third-place finish at the Georgia State Invitational at Rivermont Country Club in Johns Creek, Ga.

The Racers rebounded from a 302 in the opening round to sold scores of 298 and 301 for a 901 total. The Racers were one shot from second place Saint Leo (900) and all were chasing winner Queens (894).
The Racers had a couple of top-20 showings with Eliza Mae Kho (224) placing 11^th and Ella Scherer (227) posting a finish of 18^th place.

MSU's home event, the Jan Weaver Invitational, is up next at Miller Memorial Golf Course (April 5-6).
