The Murray State Sports Network
The Racer Radio Network is a great source of information for Murray State sports fans. The Racers flagship station WFGE 103.7 FM in Murray is the centerpiece of the network. “Froggy 103.7 FM” is a 100,000 watt radio giant that sends the Racers nearly 100 miles in each direction from Murray. All Racer football and basketball games are broadcast on the entire network. Selected soccer and baseball games are broadcast on WNBS 1340AM in Murray. Through the live audio broadcasts on GoRacers.com, Racer fans from anywhere in the country can tune in to catch the Racers. Once again the Racer Radio Network will include pregame, halftime and post-game shows during its game broadcasts, as well as the weekly coach's show featuring Racer head basketball coach Billy Kennedy and head football coach Matt Griffin on Monday’s at 6:00 p.m.

Murray State Coaches' Television Shows
Since 1979, Racer fans have been able to keep up with the Racers by tuning into the weekly coaches television show. The 2007 season for the MSU football and basketball television shows mark a change in the host of the show and where the program can be seen. The MSU television programs are also seen on New Wave Cable (Channel 19) in Calloway County, Graves County, Marshall County, Madisonville and Fulton. Mediacomm cable also airs the MSU shows in Calloway and Marshall Counties. Again MSU TV-11 will air the shows as well as Charter Cable in Christian County. The program also airs on WQWQ on Wednesdays.
The Murray State coaches' television shows have a 28-year history dating back to 1979, when WPSD's Frank Murock launched the programs when Mike Gottfried coached MSU football and Ron Greene coached MSU basketball. Joe Amato hosted the shows for two seasons, then longtime WPSD sports director Larry McIntosh hosted the shows for more than 10 seasons (1983-93) through the Frank Beamer and Mike Mahoney years in football and during the years that Steve Newton and Scott Edgar coached MSU basketball. Dave Winder hosted the show from 1993 through the Houston Nutt, Denver Johnson and Joe Pannunzio years in MSU football and the beginning of the Matt Griffin era. He also hosted the program with MSU Basketball during the Tevester Anderson and Mick Cronin years and the beginning of the Billy Kennedy era. Mark Miller hosted the MSU basketball show during the Mark Gottfried era, and Josh Perigo hosted the programs in the 2007-08 sports season. Winder returned as host for the 2008-09 seasons after Darron Boatright had a breif stint as host at the beginning of the the football season.
In all, the MSU coaches television shows will be seen weekly in more than thousands of homes in the region and on www.GoRacers.com and local cable outlets.
