Significant improvements have been made to Murray State's football facilities recently. Even more improvements are
planned for the near future.

During the spring and summer of 2007 the AstroTurf surface at
Stewart Stadium was replaced with state-of-the-art FieldTurf. In addition, new play clocks and goal posts were installed
and the track received a new surface.

A remodeld locker room with brand new wooden, personalized
lockers welcomed the Racers when they returned to campus for
preseason camp prior to the 2006 season.

In addition, the coaches' offices and reception area have been update.
During the summer of 2008 the weight room inside Stewart Stadium received a complete overhaul with brand new equipment and a new layout to maximize space.
