Complimentary Admission to Home Events in Other Sports
You are also eligible to receive complimentary admissions to home athletic events other than the sport you compete in. Current Racers may receive one (1) complimentary admission to MSU home athletic contests. As with the tickets for your own sport, these also have guidelines you must follow.

Nonpermissible Actions Regarding Admissions and Tickets
There are also some general rules regarding ticket practices that you must follow while a student-athlete at Murray State. If you are ever unsure of what the policy is regarding tickets to a Murray State contest or any other athletic event, on or off-campus, please contact the compliance staff and we'll be happy to answer your questions. Here are some of the nonpermissible procedures as outline by the NCAA.
- You may not receive payment from any source for your complimentary admissions and may not exchange or assign for them any item of value.
- Individuals that you assign complimentary admissions to may not receive any type of payment for your admissions or exchange or assign them for any item of value. If the individual receives compensation for complimentary admission, this is prohibited by the NCAA and will be deemed as an "extra benefit."
- Murray State may not provide a special arrangement to sell a student-athlete ticket(s) to an athletics event. Tickets will be available for purchase by student-athletes according to the same purchasing procedures that other MSU students follow.
- A student-athlete may not purchase tickets for an intercollegiate athletics event and then sell the tickets for a greater price than what they originally paid.
- Murray State or any representative of its athletics interests may not purchase or otherwise obtain tickets to a professional sports event and make these tickets available to student-athletes enrolled at Murray State or in another member institution. This would be deemed as an "unacceptable extra benefit."
