2025 March Madness Information - Murray State University Athletics

The Murray State Racers are GOING DANCING! The 11th-seeded Racers will face off with No. 6 Iowa in Norman, Okla., on Saturday, March 22. Tip-off is slated for 11 a.m. CT and will be nationally-televised on ESPN.

OPPONENTS/BRACKET

Murray State and Iowa will be the first game in Norman. Following this contest, No. 3 Oklahoma will take on No. 14 Florida Gulf Coast.

TICKETS

Tickets for the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament in Norman are available for purchase. While the team block is sold out, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in sections 101-103 and 126-128 to be located near the bench.

RACERS IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT

Making their second NCAA Tournament appearance in school history, the first and last time the Racers played in the NCAAs was under Coach Jody Adams when the Racers were a No. 14 seed and played No. 3 Duke in College Park, Maryland in a 78-57 loss. Murray State Hall of Famer and retired No. 23 jersey, Ashley Hayes, led the Racers that day with 26 points on 6-of-12 from the 3-point line.
