2011-12: Started all 33 games and was sixth in the OVC with 33.7 minutes per game … He topped the 30-point mark in scoring four times with 36 vs Southern Mississippi (Nov. 26) as he won the Great Alaska Shootout MVP as the Racers won the title, 35 against Austin Peay (Jan. 7) when he hit his first seven three-point attempts, 32 vs SE Missouri (Feb. 2) and 31 vs Tennessee State (Feb. 9) … Ended the season the 24th leading scorer in the nation (19.0 points per game), sixth in made threes per game (2.97), 13th in three-point percentage (.456), 36th in free throw percentage (.858) and 47th in steals per game (1.91) … Was the first Racer to lead the team in scoring and assists since Isaac Spencer (2000-01) … Became the 38th member of the MSU 1000-Point Club … Enters his senior season 19th on the MSU all-time scoring list … With 1,374 points, he has a chance to become the sixth member of the MSU 2000-Point Club … Is 41 threes from becoming the all-time leader at MSU ... 2010-11: Started 20 of 32 games with a scoring average of 11.7, best on the team which was 14th in the OVC …He hit a team-high 122 field goals on 269 shots for a .416 clip … Scored 375 points as a sophomore after scoring 373 as a freshman and is in line to be the 38th member of the MSU 1000-Point Club this season … Also led the team and was sixth in the OVC with a .403 percentage from three-point range on 58-of-144 shots … His 58 made threes was sixth in the league … Had a streak of 15 games with at least one made three-point basket … Ranked second on the team with 34 steals … Had 21 double-figure scoring games including a string of eight straight when he averaged 15.3 points per game … Scored a career-high 24 points against UT Martin (Jan. 29) when he was 6-of-6 from the three-point line … Also had a 21-point effort (Feb. 5) against Austin Peay … Was named OVC Player of the Week (Dec. 20) after he had a big game against WKU (Dec. 18) with 19 points including 5-of-8 from three-point range … At the end of the season was named All-OVC First Team.
2009-10: Appeared in all 36 games and scored in double-figures in 19 games with a scoring average of 10.4 per game … Was the best three-point shooter for the Racers with a .482 success rate on 54-of-112 shots … Ranked first in the OVC in three-point percentage … Had a streak of 17 consecutive games in which he made at least one three-point basket … The streak started in the second game of the season and he shot 23-of-47 (.489) during the streak … Had a season-high 22 points against Eastern Kentucky (Feb. 27) when he was 5-of-6 from three-point range … had 373 points with 56 assists and 31 steals … Hit a shot from one knee from mid-court (Feb. 16) against Southeast Missouri, the video was viewed more than two million times on YouTube.com … Hit 6-of-7 from three-point range against Vanderbilt and Butler in the NCAA Tournament ... Before MSU: Outstanding talent from Biloxi High School, where he was a finalist for Mississippi Mr. Basketball honors after leading his Biloxi team to the 5A State Championship and a 30-3 record ... Was the Mississippi State Tournament MVP and was named All-State ... Was named to the finalist list for Gatorade Player of the Year ... As a senior at Biloxi, he scored 24 points per game and dished out seven assists per game ... Played in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Game and was named his team’s MVP after scoring 18 points ...
