2012: Started in 54 games, all at catcher... Had six multiple hit games, including going 2-for-2 with three runs, a RBI and a home run on Apr. 14 vs. Morehead State... Had 34 runs and 18 RBIs on the season... Walked 21 times and was hit by 21 pitches for a team-high on-base percentage of .448... Was a perfect 3-for-3 in base stealing...
2011: Started all 52 games for Murray State in 2011, with 33 coming at catcher…Made 18 starts a designated player and one start at 1b…Drove in four runs and homered in the season opener at Middle Tennessee State, recording three hits in four at bats…Drove in a pair of runs against Oregon State at the DeMarini Invitational…Went 2-3 at the plate against Tennessee Tech, driving in a pair of runs…Homered once in each of three games against Morehead State, driving in six total runs in the three-game series…Scored twice and drove in two in a 12-2 win against Austin Peay…Tallied three hits in the series opener against Southeast Missouri…Drove in a pair of runs in the series-ending game against the Redhawks in a 9-7 win…Homered in the second of two games against Tennessee State in a 19-0 shutout

Personal: Born Ellyn Troup, March 22, 1991 in Placentia, Calif….daughter of Phil and Amy Troup....has two sisters, Erin and Emily …the third person in her family to play softball at the collegiate level, as both her older sisters played softball…Erin played for North Dakota State University, and Emily played at the University of North Carolina…majoring in business administration.
