Named to All-America Teams by College Baseball Insider All-America, Ping!Baseball, National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and Collegiate Baseball.
Named to the ABCA All-South Region Second Team.
In 2009 was 11-3 record with a 2.32 ERA and one save, struck out 85 and walked only six in 97 innings.
His 11 complete games established a new single-season mark at MSU and his 11 wins tied former Major League All-Star Kirk Rueter for the most in a single season.
Led NCAA D-I in Walks Allowed Per 9 Innings (0.56), was 10th in victories and 11th in ERA .
In 14 starts, tossed a complete game 11 times
Was teammates with Wes Cunningham, future MSU Hall of Famer.
Helped the Breds to a 13-8-1 mark and the No. 2 seed in the OVC Tournament, MSU's first appearance since 2007 and 18th appearance overall.
Helped Rob McDonald earn the OVC Coach of the Year award in 2009.
Selected in the 29th round of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft by the St. Louis Cardinals.
Made 103 total minor league appearances in four seasons of minor league baseball. three with St. Louis Cardinals organization including Batavia (Class A), Quad Cities (2010), Springfie97ld (2011), Palm Beach (2011).
Final season was in 2012 with Southern Illinois of Frontier League.
Minor league career produced 23-7 record with 3.03 ERA in 297.1 IP with 294 H, 100 ER, 233 SO, 52 BB and a WHIP of 1.164.
2009 season numbers include as of 2024, ninth at MSU 97IP, 11 complete games 1st, 85 SO 7th.
His 18 career wins was 10th all-time at MSU as of 2024.
Played prep baseball at North High School in Evansville
In 2008, helped the Huskies to a 24-7 record and a state runner-up finish, named to the all-city team and was named honorable mention all-metro.
