- His 1,811 career points was fifth all-time at MSU when he finished and is still eighth as of his induction in 2018
- One of only 10 Racers to be three-time All-OVC selections (1991, 1992, 1993)
- His 39 points against Tennessee Tech on 12-17-1992 was the fourth all-time single scoring game in MSU history. It still ranks eighth.
- When finished at MSU, he was the top player in program history with 251 made 3-point baskets. His mark stood 20 years until Isaiah Canaan topped it with 304 in 2013.
- His 3-point percentage (251-653 .384) is fifth among MSU players with 500 or more attempts.
- His 75 made 3-pointers in the 1992-93 season set a MSU record.
- In 1993 he finished at MSU with 428 made free throws. It was fifth all-time at MSU and ranks ninth.
- An excellent free throw shooter, Allen was third all-time in percentage when he finished. (428-517 .828)
- His 1989-90 season (112-129 .868) was second all-time at MSU among players with 100 or more attempts.
- Ranked third at MSU with 364 career assists.
- Ranked third all-time at MSU with 133 steals.
- Even though he last played 24 years ago, he’s still one of only two Racers that ranks in the top-10 in scoring, made 3-point baskets, made free throws, assists and steals. Isaiah Canaan joined him with this distinction in 2013.
- Was part of an amazingly successful four-year run for the Racers playing for Coach Steve Newton (1989-91) and Coach Scott Edgar (1991-93) for two seasons each.
- Won three OVC regular season titles and three OVC Tournament titles, leading to three NCAA appearances. Allen was also part of a 42-12 OVC record for a winning percentage of .777.
