Inducted into the MSU Hall of Fame in 2023.
Played for Coach Rob Cross and Coach Rechelle Turner from 2014-18.
Began her Racers career by being named the OVC Freshman of the Year for the 2014-15 season and ended as OVC Player of the Year in 2017-18.
Ranks second in MSU program history with 2,119 points.
2014-15 Season: She led the team with 28 starts and played in all 29 contests and was second on the team in scoring (15.4 ppg) and rebounding (6.5 rpg), led the team with 46 steals and 157 made field goals.
Scored in double figures in 25 games and had seven games with 20-plus
Scored a career-high 31 points on 12-of-17 shooting against Austin Peay (Feb. 7).
2015-16 Season: Was a First Team All-OVC selection after being seventh in the OVC in scoring averaging 16.4 points per game in league play and 17.7 for the season.
Scored in double figures in all but three games and had 11 games where she scored 20 or more and carded five double-doubles.
Scored a career-high 32 points vs Morehead State (Jan. 2) and had two games with 13 rebounds, both coming against UT Martin.
2016-17 Season: First Team All-OVC selection for the second straight season.
Became the 19th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points at Southern Illinois (Nov. 17).
Led the OVC in scoring with 20.5 points per game and had 17 games where she scored 20 points or more.
Ranked 17th nationally in scoring average and averaged 21.6 points per during league play.
Led the OVC in steals per game with 2.6
Finished season with 594 points, the fifth-highest single-season mark in program history.
2017-18 Season: Became just the fourth Racer in program history to be named OVC Player of the Year. James joined Karen Hubert Price (1983-84), Joi Scott (2006-07) and Ashley N. Hayes (2007-08 and 2008-09) as the only Racers to receive the prestigious honor.
Led OVC in scoring with 22.8 points per game during league play and 21.4 ppg was 14th in NCAA D-I.
Was fourth in the league in rebounding with 8.1 per game, is seventh in field goal percentage (48.7 percent), sixth in assists (4.2 apg) and fourth in steals (1.9 spg).
Was one of only two players in the OVC that led her team in points, rebounds, assists and steals in the 2017-18 season.
Had nine double-doubles and six 30-plus point outings and a 41-point barrage, the fourth-most points scored Murray State history vs Austin Peay (Feb. 8), a game in which she also came just one assist shy of the third triple-double in program history.
Professional: Has played for the Pieštanské Čajky Seagulls where she will be with the team for a third season in 2023-24, her sixth season as a pro.
Won a second-straight Slovak Basketball League championship in 2023 with the Pieštanské Čajky Seagulls.
Was named Player of the Year and Import Player of the Year.
One of only two players to score at least 400 points in the SBL, was a .362 shooter from the 3-point line and led the league in steals.
Had a lost season in 2021-22 with a knee injury.
Previously played for teams Mexico, Greece and Ukraine.

During her senior year she averaged a career-high 21 points and 10 rebounds per game.
Scored 1,421 career points at Southside and pulled down 697 career rebounds.
Also played softball and volleyball at Southside.
