- 2-time All-OVC in 1990 and 1991.
- Played for Coach Steve Newton.
- Part of four-straight OVC regular season championships – the first MSU player to be on four-straight title teams.
- With King, Racers were 86-38 overall, 43-7 in OVC.
- Played in three NCAA Tournament appearances for the Racers (1988 Lincoln, 1990 Knoxville, 1991 Atlanta).
- Played on the Racers’ first NCAA Tournament victory in 1988 when MSU defeated NC State.
- 124 games – 1,108 points - 8.9ppg – 121 steals.
- 121 career steals were third all-time at MSU (17th today).
- 1,108 points was 13th all-time at MSU (34th today).
- Was the 22nd player in MSU history to score 1,000 points.
- Hit .438 from 3-point line during freshman season (35-80). Instantly became MSU’s defensive stopper.
- In junior season of 1989-90, was top-25 in the nation with a 3-point clip of .469 (46-98).
- Played with other MSU hall of famers Jeff Martin, Don Mann, Frank Allen and Popeye Jones.
- Had his No. 30 number retired in 1991.
- Came to MSU from Webster Groves High School in St. Louis with teammate Chris Ogden.
- Was a Street & Smith HS All-America honorable mention.
