Sarah Dearworth, Volleyball (1991-94)
- One of two MSU players to win OVC Player of the Year as of her 2018 induction. She was so honored in 1994.
- Three-time All-OVC selection (1992-94) first team in 1993 and 1994.
- Named to the 1994 OVC All-Tournament Team.
- Until Scottie Ingram passed her in 2016, Dearworth was MSU’s all-time leader in kills with 1,561.
- Ranks at or near the top in every MSU stat category including kills (1st, 1,561), blocks (1st, 461), blocking assists (1st, 337), aces (2nd, 194), attacks (3rd, 3,775), solo blocks (3rd 124) and hitting percentage (6th, .246), sets played (7th, 461) matches played (9th, 130).
- One of only eight Racer players to get 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs.
- In single-season records, she has the second and third best seasons in kills with 555 in 1993 and 537 in 1994.
- Was the 1994-95 OVC Medal of Honor winner.
- In 1994, named Third Team Cosida Academic All-American.
- Two-time Commissioner’s Honor Roll member (1993-94 and 1994-95).
- Spent one season (1997) as the Racers’ interim head coach. MSU went 20-12 overall and 13-5 in the OVC.
- Played for Coaches Oscar Segovia (1991) and Brenda Bowlin (1992-94).
