Murray State Lady Racers head coach Joi Williams announced her inaugural recruiting class, five players who have signed to play at MSU for the 2004-05 season.
"I am very excited about our new additions," Williams said. "I think we've added some depth at every position. We've done a good job at identifying players who will complement the players we currently have.
"This is my first recruiting class, and I'm excited to get started."
Williams also announced that junior guard Brittany Park and sophomore post Lori Trumblee will not return next season to the squad.
Players signed by Williams this season were:
ALAINA LEE: A 5-5 point guard from Houston, Texas, a 2004 graduate of James Madison High School. Lee averaged 15 points, nine assists and five steals per game, and was named to the Texas Girls' Coaches Association's All-State Team. She signed during the fall signing period. An all-state honorable mention and all-state tournament honoree, she helped the Lady Colonels to the Sweet 16 in each of the last three years, the first time for CCHS to earn a spot in the state championship.
