Neeley leads MSU At SIU

Lindsey Neeley led the Murray State women's cross country team at the Saluki Fast Start Cross Country Meet on Friday in Carbondale, Ill. Neeley placed 15th on the 4-kilometer (2.5-mile) course with a time of 16 minutes, 35.39 seconds.

Megan Rainville placed 17th with a time of 16:58.69, while Trista Curtis was 20th at 25:02 and Tiffany Cowan was 21st with a time of 25:23. Lindsay Zeiler of Southeast Missouri State won the event with a time of 14:42.27.

Murray State will next compete at the Vanderbilt Commodore Invitational in Nashville, Tenn., on Sept. 18.
