The Murray Room is a nearly 8,000-square-foot multi-purpose room used before and after Racer basketball games as a hospitality room.

Stylishly appointed, the Murray Room includes a kitchen, seating area, meeting space and a state-of-the-art audio/visual center.

The Murray Room is also used for special athletic events and press conferences. The university met new MSU Director of Athletics Allen Ward for the first time on Mar. 2, 2005 in the Murray Room.

On Dec. 12, 2005, new head football coach Matt Griffin was introduced to the university and the community for the first time in the Murray Room.
