MSU had a .790 percentage going into the Ohio Valley Conference game at Tennessee-Martin, but made 10 of 13 attempts for a .769 game percentage. Murray State leads the nation this week with a .789 percentage.
Samford is fifth in the nation this week at .767, while Tennessee Tech is 16th at .753 and Eastern Illinois is 34th at .739.
Murray State also ranks among the top 100 of the 324 Division I schools in scoring (26th at 72.8 points per game), three-point field goals (38th at 6.4 per game), fewest turnovers (65th at 16.0 per game) and assists per game (93rd at 14.8 per game).
The Lady Racers have no individual players ranked among the nation's best, although junior forward Joi Scott's 20.2 points per game would rank 14th if she had played in the minimum number of games required for rankings (75 percent of her team's games).
Murray State hosts OVC co-leader Tennessee Tech on Thursday at 5:15 p.m. in MSU's Regional Special Events Center. The Lady Racers then visit Southeast Missouri on Saturday at 5 p.m.
