Since the fall of 1998, the Racers and Lady Racers Basketball teams have enjoyed playing in the friendly confines of the Regional Special Center. With the 2006-07 season a month away, the floor at the RSEC has recently undergone a facelift.

Workers have repainted the navy blue accents that ring the floor and the lane areas, and have also redone the gold paint that make up most of the MSU logo in the center of the floor and the free throw circles. The Ohio Valley Conference logos on either side of the floor have also been updated. A new coat of polyurethane completed the job and makes the floor shine.

The first games on the new floor are Nov. 4 when the Lady Racers host Christian Brothers at 5:15 p.m. and the Racers host York at 7:30 p.m. in exhibitions.
