MSU Women's Cross Country Competes At Belmont Event

The Murray State Women's Cross Country team competed over the weekend at the Belmont Cross Country Opener at Percy Ward Park in Nashville, Tenn.
MSU finished in 8th place out of 11 squads in the event with an total time of 1:19:11. The event was won by Alabama-Birmingham with a total time of 1:12:42.
Leading the way for the Racers was Kristen Heckert who covered the 4K course in 15:04 and finished in 22nd place in the field of 114 competitors. Alania Zanin finished 43rd with a time of 15:36. Taylor Crawford's time of 16:01 was good for a 51st place finish.
