Women's Cross Country Places Fourth at OVC Championships

The Murray State women's cross country team competed today in the OVC Cross Country Championships, which was hosted by Samford University and held at Veteran's Park in Hoover, Ala.

The Racers took home a 4^th place finish out of 11 teams, with a total time of 1:37:59.42, and an average time of 19:35.89. Eastern Kentucky took first place, with times of 1:33:56.24 (total) and 18:47.25 (average).

Taylor Crawford led the pack for the Racers, coming in 14^th place out of 78 runners with a time of 19:17.52. Kristen Miller was next for the Racers, running the 5k in 19:33.69, good for 19^th place. Junior Alaina Zanin came in 21^st place with a time of 19:38.28, while the freshman duo of Asenath NaAman (19:44.61; 23^rd place) and Katelyn Jones (19:45.32; 24^th) rounded out the top five scorers for the Racers.
