Scott Ranked 6th Among Nation's Scorers

Senior forward Joi Scott ranks sixth among all NCAA Division I scorers, averaging 22.0 points per game. Scott was ranked as high as No. 5 last week.
The 6-foot native of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, also ranks 16th in the nation in field-goal percentage, shooting 57.9 percent from the field. In conference games, she is shooting a blistering 64.6 percent from the floor and averaging 24.2 points per game.
The NCAA released its biweekly statistics this afternoon, and Murray State is ranked among the top 100 in 10 categories. The NCAA ranks 324 Division I teams in its statistical releases, which are issued every Monday and Thursday.
Murray State (16-7, 12-4 OVC) is ranked:

*13th in field-goal percentage (.462)
*13th in free-throw percentage (.760)
*29th in three-point field-goal percentage (.362)
*34th in points per game (72.7)
*45th in three-pointers per game (5.9)
*45th in scoring margin (10.2 points per game)
*60th in win percentage (.696)
*85th in fewest fouls per game (16.6)
*89th in assists per game (14.4)
MSU also ranks among the top half in points allowed per game (133rd, 62.6 points per game)
