Video Streaming Available Of 'Breds' First Game At Morehead

The first game of the Murray State Thoroughbreds' three-game series will be video streamed through the Web site for the Ohio Valley Conference, www.ovcsports.tv. That game begins Saturday at noon CT, and is the first game of a scheduled double-header. The third game of the series will be played Sunday at noon CT.

Murray State (12-22, 6-4 OVC) hopes to improve its OVC standing against Morehead State (9-25, 3-9 OVC). The 'Br.eds have two players ranked among the league's top 10 in batting, as Seth Hudson ranks fourth at .381 and Tyler Owen is sixth at .373. In OVC games only, Owen is second in the conference at .455, while Jason Payton is 10th at .368.
Owen leads the league in OVC games only in slugging at .818 and in runs batted in, driving in 13 runs thus far. Owen is tied for second in OVC games only with three home runs and is third with an on-base percentage of .514. Tyler Pittman is tied for second in the OVC in league games only with five doubles.
