Cross Country OVC Championships This Weekend

The men's and women's cross country teams will be competing in the Ohio Valley Conference Championships Saturday, Nov. 1st. The competition will be held at
The women's team has steadily improved over the season and at their last race, the Evansville Invitational, the women out ran all other OVC competition and placed third. With their increasing improvement and dedication the Racers will be a tough team to beat.
“The women's team has improved since our first meet in August at the Mid America Opener. The conference championship has been on the runner's minds throughout the season,” said assistant coach Chris England. “Training has been going well and confidence is high. Performances and times at races through out the fall have been impressive.”

Jordan Nikolaisen has been the predominant top finisher for the men. Andrew Beckman, Jack Findley, Andrew Smithson, Theron Chalepah, and Andy Pack have also been strong competitors for the Racers.
