MSU Soccer Blanks ULM 3-0 At Belmont Showcase

The Murray State Women's Soccer team brought home a 3-0 win Sunday over Louisiana-Monroe in the final day of the Belmont University Showcase in Nashville
The Racers evened their 2008 record at 4-4 in completing their second shut out of the season.

Racer junior Renta Figueria came off the bench to score twice. The first came in the 44th minute on an assist by Jenna Fioranelli and the second came in the 88th minute to ice the game on an assist from Rachel Wright and Sophie Hargreaves.
Sandwiched in between was the first goal of the season from senior Rebekah Clay on an assist from Hargreaves.
The goal was Clay's 23rd of her MSU career which places her third all-time in program history. She is two goals from catching second place Jackie Thomas who played for MSU from 2000-03.
