Murray State women's basketball student-athlete Kayla Vance earned Pepsi Athlete of the Week honors for the period of Feb. 8-14.

Vance (Paducah, Ky.) averaged 18 points in two MSU games at Tennessee Tech and Jacksonville State.

She started with a career-high 27 points against TTU with a 10-20 shooting night that included hitting 3-5 from three-point range.

Vance came back at JSU and scored 19.

For the week, she was 17-35 from the field for 48 percent
