Racer Soccer Adds To 2010 Recruiting Class

Murray State women's soccer welcomes four additional student-athetes to the 2010 roster as announced by MSU Head Coach Beth Acreman.
Joining the Racers for the fall season are: Naztazia Christoloulou (Limassol, Cyprus), Hanna Moellerstad (Oslo, Norway), Jillian Russell (Independence, Ky.), and Charlotte Trondsen (Oslo, Norway).
Along with signee Shauna Wicker of Calloway County High School in Murray, Ky., (she signed earlier) this makes the 2010 incoming class complete.
“We're thrilled to have this recruiting class join the program this fall,” Acreman said. “This is a hard working class and I expect them to compliment the veteran team we have coming back.”
Natazia Christoloulou – This midfielder is a transfer from Hofstra University and her club team was the Apollon Ladies FC. She was part of the U17 and U19 Cyprus National Team and was elected team captain. She also competed in the UEFA Champions League in 2009 ande 2010.
Hanna Moellerstaf - She is a defender who played high school soccer at Norges Toppidrettgymnas and for Linderud Grei club team.
Jillian Russell – Joins the Racers from Simon Kenton High School where she also participated in track & field. She was named All-District and All-Region Soccer in 2008 and 2009. Russell was named to the Kentucky All-Star game as a senior and was named All-Northern Kentucky Third Team. A defender/midfielder, Russell played for the Brasilian Strikers club team.
Charlotte Trondsen – She is a defender who played with fellow MSU recruit Hanna Moellerstad on the club team, Lindergrud Grei. Trondsen played prep soccer at Bjerke Vidergaende High School.
The Racers begin the 2010 season Aug. 14 with an exhibition against MSU alumni at Cutchin Field and play the season opener Aug. 20 at Bellarmine.
After an Aug. 22 visit to Saint Louis, MSU has its regular season home opener Aug. 27 when they host South Florida in the first day of the 2010 Racer Classic. Southeast Missouri State and Alabama A&M are the other two teams in the event. MSU plays AA&M Aug. 29th.
