Cookin' With The Racers & Pep Rally Planned

Murray State Athletics wants all fans & students to get ready for the coming seasons with two special events.
Cookin' with the Racers is Wednesday, Aug. 18 at the Curris Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“With classes starting this week this is an opportunity for our student-athletes to meet other students, let them know we appreciate their support, and encourage them to come out and watch the various teams' home games,” stated Paul Bubb, MSU Associate Athletic Director.
Come out and enjoy free chips, soda, and hot dogs on the west side of the Curris Center next to the IT building as MSU's fall sports teams, cross country, football, soccer and volleyball grill and serve.
Thursday, Aug 19, the Racers will stage a pep rally outside Winslow Dining Hall at 6:30 p.m.
The MSU spirit squads, Racer Band, and fall sport student-athletes will all be in attendance.
The action begins when MSU Soccer opens at home at Cutchin Field Aug. 27 against South Florida at 3 p.m. in the Racer Classic. MSU Football has its home opener Sep. 11 at 6 p.m. against Southeast Missouri at Stewart Stadium and MSU Volleyball's home opener is Sep. 25 in Racer Arena against SIU Edwardsville at noon.
