“This was another chance for our team to compete in a very good field of teams at Cincinnati and I'm happy with the way we finished,” MSU Head Coach Velvet Milkman said. “We had seven rounds in the 70's and Delaney was in the 70's all three rounds, so we're making progress.”
Florida International won the 15-team event at 889, while Toledo (900), Cincinnati (913) and Penn State (915) made up the top-4.
Southern Mississippi (944) was eighth, with Ohio (947), Akron (950), Austin Peay (957), Texas-Pan American (963), Marshall (973), Evansville (996) and Robert Morris (999) making up the rest of the field.
The Racers were the highest finisher of the three Ohio Valley Conference teams in the field.
