BB&T presents Racers Got Talent Announces Judges Panel - "Fan Favoite" Contest Extended

Racer Athletics is pleased to announce the judges for this year's BB&T Presents Racers Got Talent audition. Radio personality Wendi Waters from Froggy 103.7 will be joined on the judge's panel by Dr. David Wray, the Director of Music Business in the Murray State University Music Department, and Racer Women's Tennis Head Coach Kara Amundson. The judges will be choosing acts to advance in the competition based on the quality of their performance, the entertainment value of the act, and the stage presence of the performers. The Nov. 1 audition is the only segment of Racers Got Talent that is judged. All further eliminations of acts from the competition will be decided solely by online voting, including the final vote whose winner will receive a $500 Grand Prize from BB&T.
Auditioning for the judges won't be the only way to earn a spot in Racers Got Talent this year. Students may now enter the competition via Facebook. Acts can post a one-and-a-half to three minute video of them performing their talent on the official Murray State Racer Athletics Facebook page. Fans are encouraged to “Like” their favorite video, and the two acts whose videos receive the most “Likes”, now by noon on Monday Oct. 31, will be invited to join the Racers Got Talent competition. All acts who post a Facebook video must sign-up online at GoRacers.com and agree to all terms and conditions of the competition. Any acts wishing to attend the Nov. 1 audition in the CFSB Center at 6:30 P.M. may also use the online form to sign-up their acts for the competition. Pre-audition sign-ups are not mandatory, but are encouraged so that event organizers can adequately accommodate any special needs an act may have.
