SAAC Starts 6th Annual Can Food Drive

The Murray State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and Racers Athletics will start its 6th Annual Can Food Drive, Monday, Oct. 31-Friday, Nov. 18. Student-athletes from all MSU teams will be collecting can foods, toiletries and paper products for the home to be donated to Murray-Calloway County Needline.
Monetary contributions will also be accepted in order to purchase eggs for Needline's Christmas Baskets.
Items will also be collected at all home athletic events during the three-week period, or can be dropped off at the Racers Athletics Administrative Offices located on the second level of Stewart Stadium.
Last year the departments collected 6,600 items and the goal for 2011-12 is to collect 10,000.
