Racers Take Third At UNI Snowbird Intercollegiate

Final Results
Delaney Howson led MSU with when she rallied with a final round 1-under par 71 after shooting an 80 in round one. Her 151 total was good for a fourth-place finish.Morgan Cross placed eighth in the field of 64 players after scores of 76-77=153, while Caroline Lagerborg had rounds of 77-80=157 for a spot in 12th place. Alexandra Hinteregger took 27th place with scores of 80-83-163 and Alli Weaver had a spot in 48th place with scores of 85-86=171.
Alexandra Lennartsson played the event as an individual and shared fourth place with teammate Howson after scores of 75-76=151.
Southern Illinois (626) placed fourth in the field of 11 teams and Montana State (641) was in fifth place. Chicago State (647), host Northern Illinois (652), Utah Valley (652), Lenoir-Rhyne (657), Illinois-Springfield (704) and Wellesley (714) rounded out the field.
The Pebble Creek GC played to a par-72 and 6,074 yards.
MSU's next challenge is March 21 at the Georgia State Intercollegiate at Eagles Landing GC in Stockbridge, Ga.
The Murray State women's golf team finished third at the NIU Snowbird Intercollegiate at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Tampa, Fla.
The Racers finished the 36-hole event with a 311 after posting a 313 in round one for a 624 total.
Saint Leo won the title at 608, while Longwood was second at 614.
