Racers Compete At Georgia State Event

Final Results
The Racers were part of a deep field of teams and fired rounds of 315-312-313=940.
MSU's Delaney Howson was the team's best finisher with a 14th place showing in a field of 81 competitors with scores of 72-77-76=225. Alli Weaver placed 46th with scores of 81-77-79=237, while Morgan Cross was 51st after scores of 82-78-79. Alexandra Lennartsson finished 55th with scores of 81-80-80=241, with Caroline Lagerborg placing 64th with scores of 81-83-79=243.
Alexandra Hinteregger played the event as an individual and placed 68th with scores of 84-82-80=246.
The Racers placed ahead of 14th place Xavier (950) and Miami(FL) (950).
Notre Dame won the event with an 888 score, while Maryland (905), East Tennessee State (906), Daytona State (909) and James Madison (913) made up the top-5 teams. Michigan (916) placed sixth, followed by Mississippi State (917), Western Carolina (919), Central Florida (922), Middle Tennessee (924), Arkansas State (925) and host Georgia State (925) in the top-12 squads.
The Eagles Landing course played to a par-72 and 6,047 yards.
MSU's next event is April 1-3 at the Ole Miss Rebel Invitational in Oxford, Miss.
